I had an exceptional time at Tangalooma Island Resort, enjoying the beautiful gardens and unique activities like dolphin feeding. The staff were warm and nothing felt like too much trouble. However, some dining options were limited due to early closing hours, and there were issues with shade around the beach area. Overall, a lovely stay with lots to do!

Our stay at Tangalooma had its ups and downs. The rooms were nice and comfortable, making for a pleasant atmosphere. However, we faced some issues with customer service and dining options that could definitely use improvements. Overall, while we enjoyed some aspects of our trip, there were several areas that felt lacking considering the price we paid.

The room was nice and comfortable with everything we needed, but it lacked some basic amenities like a microwave and toaster, which we found surprising compared to previous accommodations.

We had an amazing adventure on Moreton Island, immersed in stunning nature and wildlife sightings. The dolphin feeding and eco talks were highlights of our stay. However, our accommodation felt quite dated and overpriced for what we received, which was disappointing. The dining options also posed some issues, especially during peak times with limited choices available.

Rooms

The rooms were adequate but showed signs of aging. They could use some renovation, especially given the price point per night.
Service

The staff was helpful when we needed assistance, but some seemed frazzled and inattentive, particularly during busy periods.
Location

I had a wonderful experience at this resort, enjoying the beautiful sandy beaches and breathtaking sunsets. The range of activities kept me entertained throughout my stay. However, the service was not up to par, and I found the prices for some services to be quite steep, especially when it came to dining and equipment rentals.

Rooms
7.0
The room had a lovely beachy vibe, making it ideal for a resort experience. However, I noticed some dead insects and a packet of chips left under the bed, which was a bit disappointing.
Service
6.0
While I found some staff members lovely and active during activities, others seemed uninterested. The customer service could definitely be better, especially given the prices charged.
Location
10.0
The location of the resort is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the island. It's a paradise for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature.
Dining
6.0
The food was delicious but incredibly pricey, so I recommend bringing some supplies with you to save on costs.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities included a nice pool and several activity options, but I was disappointed at the lack of free use for paddleboards and kayaks; the rental fees felt excessive.

6.2/10

I had quite a remarkable experience at this resort, but there were a few frustrating elements. The location is absolutely stunning, with magical dolphin feeding experiences and plenty of activities for the family. However, the rooms could use some improvements, as they felt rundown, and there were some annoying disturbances from the luggage carts in the mornings. Overall, while some aspects were disappointing, the beauty of the area made it worthwhile.

Rooms
5.0
The room was nice for the price paid but had some issues like a dirty bathroom and missing kitchen amenities, which made it less comfortable than expected.
Service
7.0
The service was decent, with most staff being helpful, especially the manager who assisted in getting around, yet I felt some were less attentive than needed.
Location
9.0
The location is phenomenal, close to many activities like snorkeling and dolphin feeding, surrounded by beautiful scenery.
Dining
5.0
Dining was quite overpriced and lacked variety; it felt more like a buffet experience rather than an enjoyable dining setting.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities offered were satisfactory, but there were only a couple of cooking areas available, which seemed inadequate for the number of guests.
